Fall Show

Dear Friends,

News Flash….View Royal Garden Club is holding a modified Fall Show!!!

This show will be different from any show we have done before, as there will be no public viewing, no Tea, and no trophies. We will be videoing the show and taking photos and will reveal the results at our September Zoom Garden Club meeting. The focus of the show will be the garden bounty of our fruits, vegetables and flowers.

We invite you to participate…
The show will be held on Saturday, September 12th at Wheeley Hall on Lyall St.

We will not have a setup table, so to minimize contact and reduce the amount of time spent in the hall.  Please prepare your exhibits at home and use your own containers or trays. Access to printable copies of the entry forms can be found here. Please prepare your entry slips at home. If you don’t have a printer, we will supply some blank entry forms. Please bring your own pen. Designated parking spots at the entrance to the hall will be available to drop off your exhibits.

To reduce the number of people arriving at the same time, we will stagger the arrival of exhibits.

  • For people with surnames from H-O, please come between 9:20 am and 9:40am,
  • for P-Z please come between 9:50 am and 10:10am
  • and for people with surnames from A-G, please come between 10:20 and 10:40am.

Judging will start at 11:00am. The amount of time for judging will depend on how many exhibits are received but we hope to be finished by 12:30pm. Once the judging is complete, the exhibits will be videoed and photographed. We will contact people via phone or text when they can return to retrieve their exhibits

We will be following the COVID protocols of the church hall and will use hand sanitizer, wear masks, take names for contact tracing, and maintain a 6’ distance.

Please review the Show Schedule and Show rules as there are many changes from previous schedules.

Even if we can’t meet in person, let’s share what is growing in your garden
