First awarded in 1996.

Dodie and Garry Hammond were at an executive meeting when the need for another Decorative Division trophy was discussed.  They felt it would be an appropriate one for them to donate, as they could never see themselves winning it.

Garry and Dodie are long-serving members of the executive starting in 1978. They are stalwarts of the club, knowledgeable, available to help where needed, and a continual source of encouragement to those who are hesitant to try new jobs.  Their forte is the Rose Show, and the variety and number of their entries is remarkable.

The Hammond name frequently appears on the Rose Show High Aggregate Cup.  However, their interests don’t stop at roses, and you’ll find Dodie searching specialty catalogues for cyclamen seeds to add to her collection too.
