To encourage and stimulate the love of gardening and related subjects by mutual assistance in the collection and distribution of information related to the care and culture of fruits, flowers, vegetables, etc.


To be held at ESQUIMALT UNITED CHURCH in WHEELEY HALL, 500 Admirals Road, (Admirals at Lyall – – with the Hall entrance on Lyall) on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m., except July, and December.


Effective January 2015 the annual membership fee will be $15 per person or $20 per family, payable at the January meeting. There is a $10 fee to cover some of the print & postage expenses for memberships that require a mailed hard copy of newsletters.  These amounts to be reviewed annually.


A Spring Show to be held in April; a Rose Show to be held in June, and a Fall Show to be held in September. Dates of these shows to be set by the Executive.


The Officers of the Club shall consist of Past-President, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and seven members-at-large (Membership, Speakers, Newsletter, Publicity, Catering, Show Chair, Promotions). The Past-President, President, and Vice-President shall serve for one year. All other officers shall serve for two years. All officers may seek re-election at the end of their term.
If due to mitigating circumstances, the Vice-President is unable to serve as President, or any other executive member cannot complete his/her term, the Executive shall be so advised and shall choose another person to fill the vacancy so caused.

New Executive:

The new Executive will be announced at the November meeting each year.
