(A) JUNIOR DIVISION
Open to children 13 years and under. Exhibitors to prepare entries without assistance. Please state age on entry form.

3. FLORAL EXHIBIT in exhibitor’s homemade container.
4. SUNFLOWER, stalk cut to 10”
5. CACTUS or HOUSE PLANT, cared for by exhibitor.
6. VEGETABLE, 1 only, grown and cared for by the exhibitor.

(B) DECORATIVE DIVISION – Designer’s Choice
(see definitions in Guide for Entrants)
10. Miniature exhibit (not over 5” in any dimension)
11. Petite exhibit (over 5” but not over 9” in any dimension)
12. Theme: “Getting to the Root of It”
13. Dried Arrangement, maximum 24″ in any dimension
14. Decorative Display of Foliage – 3 or more varieties, 1 or 2 cuts each, balanced and pleasing to the eye.

The tabling of diseased or pest-infected plant material is not permitted and such plant material will be removed.

Judging to be done by BC Council of Garden Judges Standards for Non-Specialized Shows, 2017, & by the VRGC Guide For Entrants To The Mini Show (updated 2019).
A further exception is for Chrysanthemums and Dahlias, which are to be judged “for garden effect only” – not as strictly as with the BC Council of Garden Judges Standards.
